On July 22, 2019, Baseball BC announced their roster that will compete at the 2019 Baseball Canada Cup (17U Nationals) in Regina, Saskatchewan from August 7th to the 11th.
For those of you unfamiliar with high school level baseball in British Columbia, it is dominated by the British Columbia Premier Baseball League (BCPBL). Most, but certainly not all, of the top high school players in BC play in the BCPBL. The league consists of 13 organizations that field teams in the Bantam PBL (15U), Junior PBL (16U), and the Senior PBL (18U).
The BCPBL has a pretty storied history. Originally established as the Island Premier Baseball League with teams only on Vancouver Island, the league expanded in 1999 and 2000, taking on teams in BC’s Lower Mainland and re-branding accordingly to the BCPBL. The league has helped develop several players who eventually went on to play in Major League Baseball including the following:

- Victoria Eagles – 4 Players (tied for 1st)
