As noted in the tagline, the purpose of Canadian Baseball is to give a Canadian take on America’s National Pastime. My goal is to describe how the game works here in Canada, highlight Canadian baseball programs, and highlight the performances of Canadian players.

I am a parent of a player from Nova Scotia who I assisted in looking at many options during and beyond high school. For the blog, I plan to share some of the things I have learned, and will learn, about the path(s) for Canadian baseball players to help other parents and players with their journey.

Because we are based in Atlantic Canada, outside the Canadian baseball hotbeds in Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta, I am also going to make an effort to surface Atlantic Canadian baseball content as much as I can.
